Sigmatak's Corporate Social Responsibility
Sigmatak approaches corporate responsibility through a simple lens: use cyber security and AI expertise to make the digital world safer for children, schools and local communities.
Beyond commercial consulting, Sigmatak invests time and resources into education initiatives that help young people develop instinctive, life-long online safety habits.
Our CSR Focus
- Cyber awareness for children
Sigmatak partners with local primary and secondary schools to deliver practical internet safety sessions, helping pupils understand risks like phishing, stranger danger, oversharing and social engineering in language they can relate to.
These sessions are designed with teachers to fit into existing curricula and to give students clear, memorable actions they can take to stay safe online. - Film competitions for ages 11–16
Sigmatak runs film-making competitions where young people create short videos about topics such as password security, privacy, gaming risks and social media behaviour, turning complex cyber threats into simple stories and peer-to-peer advice.
The best films are showcased to schools and parents, creating a ripple effect of awareness that extends beyond the classroom. - Community engagement and volunteering
Consultants volunteer time to support school events, parent evenings and community workshops, sharing real-world examples from cyber risk, governance and AI projects to make abstract threats tangible and actionable.
This work helps bridge the gap between enterprise-grade cyber knowledge and the day-to-day decisions families and small organisations make online.
How CSR Connects To Our Work
Sigmatak treats cyber security as a social responsibility, not just a compliance requirement, recognising that strong security practices protect customers, employees and the wider community.
The same principles used to design governance frameworks and secure architectures for enterprises are distilled into age-appropriate guidance for young people, teachers and parents.
